For Children

December 24: Activity Camp. All fun and learning in a workshop which will include activities like button craft, shell craft, paper craft, learning of folk dances, pot-breaking, tug of war and making thread lampshades. 8-14 years (at DakshinaChitra).
For Adults
December 11: Handmade utility ware. Participants will get to make four different items in this  workshop including a fruit basket, soup bowls, dinner plates, a cup and saucer (at Dakshina-Chitra, 10.30 a.m.-5.30 p.m.).
December 10-11: Crochet jewellery (at DakshinaChitra, 10.30 a.m.-5.30 p.m.).
December 24-25: Wire-wrapped jewellery (at DakshinaChitra, 10.30 a.m.-5.30 p.m.).

Till December 10: Kalpavriksha, an exhibition of recent paintings by Chandra Morkonda (at Forum Art Gallery).
December 10-30: Light in Matter and exhibition of paintings and installations by Nele Martens. After moving to Auroville from Germany in the early nineties, Nele has been consistently exhibiting her large abstracts in Europe and India (at Dakshina-Chitra).
Till December 12: Between the Fold by Sophie Jo & Ankon Mitra, the literal fold to one and the family fold to the other, are stock contrast (at Apparao -Galleries).
Till December 16: Notes from the Symphony by Satish Bhaisare who makes each of his paintings look like what is a visual symphony. (at Apparao Galleries @ The Leela Palace)
Till December 30: Glimpses of Thiruvannamalai. Born and raised in Thiruvannamalai, Anandakumar moved to Chennai when his series of -drawings in water colours of Chennai heritage buidings had been shown in exhibitions in the  city. He worked for two years to complete the Thiru-vannamalai series (at Dakshina-Chitra).
