December 20-January 20: TTDC’s Dance Festival in Mamallapuram.

Till January 29:DakshinaChitra presents Village Festival. Karnataka (January 4-8); Pongal celebrations (January 11-16); Kerala (January 18-22) and Andhra Pradesh (January 25-29). At DakshinaChitra, performance timings: 11.30, 12.30, 3.30, 4.30.

January 15-16: Food and Garden Festival. Organised by the Friends of DakshinaChitra (FOD), a treat for foodies of South Indian street food. (At DakshinaChitra.)

Till January 31: Haunted by -Waters: an exhibition of photographs, photographic heterotopias and videos by Parvati Nayar (At DakshinaChitra).
